The only group harder on electronics than the military are elementary school students. When it comes to durability, the Maestro Wi-Fi edition brings portability and the peace of mind of knowing it can handle a few bumps along the way.
When I travel I use a notebook only to connect back to my home office computers with RemotePC software and run applications remotely. So my notebook needs are minimal. I was attracted to this one because of its small size and weight. When traveling by car, I carry an external wireless mouse and keyboard and a 27" monitor.
When setting up this little computer it did everything I asked of it. Just because it was so easy, after installing RemotePC and Google Chrome, I installed DropBox, LastPass, and LibreOffice.
Just in case I might need to download something large, I added a 512GB MicroSD card. Total investment: ~$150. Unbeatable. And I still have 35% of the space available on the built-in 64GB chip.
